Cresenzo Consulting and Mediation works with professionals and organizations operating where military and civilian systems intersect. I help teams clarify cross-system dynamics, reduce risk, and prevent preventable system failures — not replace counsel or internal decision-makers.
Civil Litigation Firms
I work with civil litigation teams handling matters involving military-connected plaintiffs, including sexual assault, sexual harassment, domestic violence, retaliation, and institutional failure.
I help firms:
- Understand military records, investigations, and command processes
- Strategize around evidence, protective orders, and parallel proceedings
- Anticipate jurisdictional and cross-system friction points
- Coordinate with military systems while prioritizing survivor safety and due process
Family Law & Cross-Border Jurisdiction (UCCJEA / Hague)
I consult with civil litigation and family law teams on complex interstate and international custody matters involving military-connected families.
This includes:
- Jurisdictional analysis under the UCCJEA and Hague Convention
- Cross-border coordination where military status or mobility is a factor
- Strategic guidance informed by North Carolina litigation experience
Military Entities
I consult with military legal offices, leadership teams, victim services, and related units seeking to strengthen institutional response and coordination.
I support teams by:
- Clarifying victim rights, obligations, and command responsibilities
- Identifying process gaps and risk points
- Supporting prevention, climate, and response efforts
- Ensuring that jurisdiction is proper to prevent further victim trauma
Civilian Organizations and Non-Profits
I partner with organizations serving military-connected populations, including advocacy groups, legal aid providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
I help organizations:
- Build trauma-informed, survivor-centered practices
- Navigate reporting options and safety planning
- Develop internal protocols for referrals, documentation, and collaboration
- Prepare stronger, better-coordinated MST/PTSD VA claims
Attorneys and Professional Teams
I work with individual attorneys and professional teams seeking deeper fluency in military–civilian systems.
This work includes:
- Case strategy consultation and mentorship
- Training on retaliation dynamics and jurisdiction
- Support for teams expanding practice in military-connected matters
How I Work with You
I work alongside your existing legal and organizational teams. My role is to provide consulting, coordination, training, and select mediation — helping connect systems, clarify options, and reduce the risk of preventable failures.
What I Do Not Do
- I do not replace a survivor's military attorney.
- I do not serve as sole counsel in sexual assault, sexual harassment, or domestic violence cases.
- I do not take over organizational decision-making; I support it with systems-aware guidance.
